Our shelter ministry has partnered with Hillcrest Ministries (401 N Spring, Independence, MO), and the Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity. Hillcrest Ministries focuses on 90-day transitional housing. Hope Network maintains one apartment in their Lee’s Summit facility financially, with repair and maintenance, and with furnishings. Hope Network also invests in the tenant by building a relationship that includes mentoring and encouragement. We also make grocery assistance available for all of the residents at Hillcrest.
We are actively seeking a vacant home site in the Raytown area which could be used for a Habitat for Humanity home.
