Food Pantry
The Vision of Hope Food Pantry obtains food from a host of local providers. We receive weekly donations from Harvesters, also known as America’s Second Harvest. Donations are collected from area churches, civic organizations, retail stores and individuals. The pantry offers both non-perishable items and perishable items. Hope Network’s pantry is a client-choice pantry, ensuring individuals and families only receive food they are willing and/or able to eat. Clients are allowed to visit the pantry once per month for up to 12 months. In 2009, there were 7,075 clients provided with 124,669 lbs of food.
